SITUATION

Protecting our environment by eliminating unnecessary emissions produced by compressor dry gas seals is a goal embraced by customers worldwide.

Many customers have inquired, "What is the most cost-efficient and reliable method for delivering ZERO emission dry gas seals?". Today, the most common solution is recovering the leakage, compressing, and injecting the gas back into the compressor process.  However, this complicated recovery process requires an expensive and elaborate system. Unfortunately, being most common does not make it the best.

EagleBurgmann's engineering team decided "common" was not good enough and embraced a different approach.  Rather than dealing with process gas seal leakage, a better solution is preventing process gas leakage altogether. 

 

OUR SOLUTION

Introducing CobaDGS, the newest addition to the EagleBurgmann compressor seal family. This unique solution delivers ZERO emissions to protect our environment. The design utilizes the reliability proven CobaSeal technology. The CobaDGS is a high-pressure process seal capable of operating at pressures up to 2320 psig. The best part is wet seals and existing dry gas seals are easily retrofitted to a CobaDGS.
